Each winner will receive a trophy created by the winners of our design commission. If you know any of the winners be sure to give them your congratulations.
Based on student nominations, we’re sending 200 staff across UAL one of these certificates for their excellent teaching.
Only 12 staff can win a top trophy each year, but many more received outstanding nominations showing their kindness, passion and knowledge. So we commissioned the winner of our design competition, Camberwell student Dominika Sroczak, to make these certificates for all staff who received excellent nominations.

1 note
Trophies for the White Square Teaching Awards in production. Designed and built by Abay Zhumagulov and Marcus Kane, winners of our trophy design competition and current BA students at CSM.
We wanted to create something visually interesting as well as tactile for the receiver. A wooden core is surrounded by cement, creating the white square award logo on the top and bottom, while also creating something dynamically visual. We also wanted a texture on half of the award to represent the two different sides to teaching, the rough and the smooth.
